"We developed Monroe’s British Nursery because we wanted to provide exciting, innovative care for our children, in an environment that presented endless opportunities for play, inspiration and development, where every child could succeed! Because we believe every child should have the best possible start in life”
We believe that by listening to what parents and children (Yes we asked the little ones!) want from a Nursery environment, through experience and knowledge and through a love and passion for working with children we have the key elements to open a Nursery that will exceed all expectations.
When I was approached to be part of Monroe’s I saw the passion and commitment that I also have when it comes to the childcare profession. Monroe’s will never be a ‘business’ to us, from day one we are a family. We respect each other’s diversity, values, opinions and suggestions. At Monroe’s we work as team that builds on strength and commitment. We want to retain our amazing staff and feel that no one is ‘replaceable’. Due to this we recognize each staff members goals and objectives, we create a fun yet professional working environment and due to this have a very happy team!
At Monroe’s we practice under the British Curriculum. I have a vast knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage as will all of our teachers. This ensures that your child will reach their full potential within achieving their individual learning goals and objectives. To ensure you are kept up to date with these achievements teachers will be providing weekly communication books. This is an important tool that identifies your child’s unique abilities and achievements, likes and dislikes and some great photo’s for you to look back on. At the end of every term your child will receive a report identifying there progress through the EYFS stages, this will include ideas and suggestions for you to use within the home to promote further learning.
Open communication is vital at Monroe’s. You will be kept up to date with all information and events through e mail, Facebook, website and letters sent home through your child. I welcome all feedback and my door will always be open.
I believe that structure and routine is very important within the class, this teaches a child boundaries from an early age giving them a sense of security, love and nurture.
We understand how important choosing a nursery is and how it is such a big decision to ensure you choose the right one for you and your child. At Monroe’s you will receive a warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. All our staff are friendly and approachable and will help in any way they can to ensure that both you and your child are more than happy with your decision.
Please feel free to get in touch and I will answer any questions or queries that you may have regarding your child’s next step into education.
I look forward to meeting you.
Miss Vicky (Principal)
